Whitestone PTA Executive Board 2023-2024
Allison Craig, President
Hi, my name is Allison Craig, and I am honored to serve a second term as your PTA President. I am an Austin native and graduated from Westwood High School and Texas Tech University. I have served on the PTA board as Parliamentarian, 1st Vice President, and Nominations Committee Chair. I have served in volunteer roles as well such as Room Representative and Spring Carnival Chair. I love seeing our Whitestone Community come together to make great things happen for our students, teachers, and staff. We have some exciting new events planned for the year!
My goal for our PTA this year is to work closely with the school to have a program rich year and expand our growing Wildcat Parent community through involvement.
My husband and I have a son who is entering the 4th grade. We stay busy with sports and hobbies: select baseball, flag football, bay fishing and hill country/south Texas hunting.
Lacey Loftin, First Vice President
Hi Wildcats! My name is Lacey Loftin, and I am so excited to serve as our PTA's First Vice President this school year, after serving as the Treasurer and Communications Chair in the past.
My husband John and I moved to Leander almost eight years ago along with our son Joseph, who is a very enthusiastic Wildcat in Second Grade this year.
I am a proud graduate of Westwood High School, and Texas A&M University. I just started my 21st year as a Statistician with the U.S. Census Bureau.
I am thrilled to be part of the awesome Whitestone community, and look forward to working with you to make this year one to remember!
Angela Quitmeyer Stubbs, Vice President of Fundraising
My name is Angela Quitmeyer Stubbs and this is my third year as a Whitestone PTA member and my second year to serve on the board as VP of Fundraising. My husband, James, and I have 5 kids -- twin 2nd grade dual language Wildcats, Charlotte and Juliette, adult son, Topher, HS junior, Meela, and HS freshman, Elenie.
I was born and raised in Austin and we've called Leander home for 3 years. We own a Farmers Insurance Agency in Austin and Lago Vista - I'm a full-time working mama! We spend our free time watching our kids in their various sports and activities, and travel or just get out to the lake or camping whenever we can.
It's an honor and pleasure to give back to our community and support our amazing teachers and staff to further the enrichment of our WSE kiddos! I'm grateful for all the amazing families and local businesses that bring more educational opportunities and fun events to our children. Please reach out if you would like to help with any of our programs!
Patty Le, Vice President of Membership
Hi, I'm Patty Le and I am excited to be serving my fourth year on the WSE PTA Executive Board. I'm mom to Madeline who is in 4rd grade, and Jacob who is in 2nd grade.
We have lived in Leander for 5 years now and I love being an active part of our Whitestone community. I work part time as a pediatric dietitian at a local pediatric and family nutrition clinic and also run my own home cake decorating business on the side. In my spare time I love reading, baking, running, and also volunteer my time as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. I am looking forward to another year on the Board helping to make Whitestone a great place to be!
Micky Barnard, Vice President of Programs
Hi, my name is Meichihko "Micky" Barnard and this is my second year on the PTA Board and our third year at Whitestone. I have 3 children- one entering first grade, one starting 6th grade and one at Leander High School.
We stay busy with dance, gymnastics, lots of tennis, camping and Cub Scouts. We are excited to be in the Whitestone community and love the helpful and kind teaching staff. We look forward to the new year!
Brittany Foster, Vice President of Events
Rholinelle De Torres, Secretary
Hi! I'm Rholinelle De Torres. This will be my fourth year on the PTA board, and my second as treasurer. I have two girls at Whitestone - Cadence in 5th grade and Aria in 4th grade.
Our family moved to Leander four years ago, and the amazing Whitestone community is a big reason our new town felt like home so quickly. I love being active and giving back to this community through the PTA!
I took some time away from work when we moved and through the past couple years of chaos, but I like to keep busy by contracting in biotech technical marketing and UX design. In my spare time I love reading, photography, cooking, and painting.
Jessica Blankenberg, Treasurer
Hi! My name is Jessica Blankenberg, and this is my first year to serve on the PTA Board. I was born and raised in Houston, so Austin still feels like home. We've lived in the Austin area for nine years, the last four being here in Leander. I have a BS in Finance and an MBA, both from Brigham Young University. I taught high school for three years, then worked as an HR professional for six, until I had my second child, when I paused my career to be with my family full-time.
My husband and I have four kiddos - Kinder, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades, and they keep us more than busy in a beautiful chaos. Their activities this year include: martial arts, soccer, tennis, and t-ball. Along with my son, I am also working towards a black belt in mixed martial arts and am absolutely loving it!
We are proud to be part of our Whitestone Community and look forward to another great year!
Rubina Dwivedi, Exec Volunteer Coordinator
Hi, my name is Rubina Dwivedi and I am so excited to serve as the Executive Volunteer Coordinator for Whitestone Elementary PTA. I am a mother to two wonderful boys - Ishaan will be in 4th grade and Veer will start Kindergarten this fall. I am a former middle school educator and a Human Resource Professional but recently decided to take a break to spend more time with my family. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from UT and received my master's fromTexas State University. We are a huge football, soccer family and enjoy taking the boys to Longhorn and Austin FC games. We recently moved to Leander and are absolutely loving getting to know the community and attending all the local events. We love our Whitestone family and I look forward to meeting more folks and supporting our school in their wonderful endeavors.
Whitney Lumpkin, Assistant Volunteer Coordinator
Hi, I am Whitney Lumpkin, this is my first year serving as a Volunteer Coordinator for Whitestone PTA this year! I have served as a room representative for several years and loved it! I graduated from Texas A&M with a masters degree in education and I spent several years teaching high school Social Studies before leaving to focus on raising my three kiddos - Rory, who is 10 and a 5th grader at Whitestone, Sadie, who is 7 and a 2nd grader at Whitestone, and Knox, who is in Preschool but definitely considers himself a wildcat! I married a native to the Austin area, Kyle, almost 14 years ago and we moved back here as soon as we could! Our family of five enjoys serving in our church community, camping trips, water activities, and movie nights together. We have loved being a part of the Whitestone community and I'm excited to serve alongside other wonderful PTA leaders!
Aracely Calderon, Communications
Hello, my name is Aracely Calderon. This is my first time on the Whitestone PTA Board. I was previously on the PTA board at our prior elementary school which was much smaller, so I definitely have a lot to learn but excited and grateful to be able to help. We are originally from California. We moved here in March of 2022 and so far the transition has been great. Whitestone has been super welcoming to us. I'm a stay at home and sometimes substitute at a Montessori school. Our oldest son is starting middle school this fall, and our twins are going into 3rd grade. I enjoy crafting, cooking and baking. I have recently become a bit of a plant lady too. Looking forward to a wonderful school year for all of our kiddos!
Andrea Mertz, Historian
I received a scholarship to play volleyball for Lamar University in Beaumont Texas and I
graduated after 4 years with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. After graduating I
worked for a home health company in Austin for 2 years and then transitioned to working for our family business Industrial Solutions where I still work today. I feel extremely blessed to be able to work and be able to have the flexibility to be home with my kids as well.
